- 1 1/2cups flour
- 1 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1/4tsp salt
- 1/2cups softened butter
- 1cup sugar
- 2 eggsroom temperature
- 1 1/2tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2cup milkroom temperature
- Fondant in black, white, and pink
- Caramel sauce
- cinnamon
Buttercream Frosting
- 2cups softened butter
- 6cups powdered sugar
- 2tsp vanilla extract
- 4-7T milk
- Gel food color in pink and brown.
Instructions
Yellow Cake Recipe
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cake pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, beating after each addition. Add in vanilla and combine. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, beginning and ending with the dry.
- Divide the batter between the cake pan wells, then bake for 25 min.
Buttercream Frosting
- Cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in vanilla. Add milk to reach desired consistency. Color with gel food color.
